Boardwalk Quilts wants to be your Block of the Month Headquarters!

We intend to give you an assortment of programs with easy–to–understand monthly payments. From simple to advanced, we will offer lots of techniques, like traditionally pieced, paper–pieced, appliqué, embroidery and many more.

Our aim is to offer you that beautiful quilt, broken down into pieces that won't overwhelm you or your pocketbook. Once you pay the Start–Up Fee, each month is as low as $19.95 + Shipping and Handling. Unless other arrangements are made, your monthly fees will be billed to the credit or debit card that was used to pay the Start–Up Fee.

Our Policy
When you register for our block
ofthemonth quilt programs, it is understood that you are registering for the entire program. We will abide by this policy and prepare a kit for you each month with the understanding that you will remain in the program for the duration.

Cancellation
We understand that things happen. If something happens that causes you to need to cancel, please let us know right away! Should you need to cancel before the program is over, however, the Start-Up Fee is not refundable.

Afraid of mistakes?
If you should make a small mistake on a particular piece of fabric you can call and request a replacement. We are happy to accommodate when fabric is available provided this policy is not abused. If you make a large mistake, we usually have extra fabric available for you to purchase at a small price. Just call and discuss it with us!

Reasons To Participate in a Boardwalk Quilts BOM Program
Why should you participate in a Block of the Month program at Boardwalk Quilts? We ask ourselves that question repeatedly, putting ourselves in your shoes so that we come up with the right answers.

Fun. We do the work for you! We find gorgeous quilts and pick from our huge selection of fabrics for that perfect color match, saving you time, money and the leg work. No need for you to hunt for the fabric (fun for some people but a headache to others), we’ve got you covered.

Support. We offer telephone and email support. If you're having trouble, just let us know. We're here to help you because we want this to be an enjoyable experience for you.

Quality. This slow economy means that every penny counts. Every quilter is looking for a way to do what they love while not spending a lot of money. BOM programs are a great way to invest small amounts of money at a time while still getting the quality that you have come to expect in your quilts.

Reliability. Boardwalk Quilts makes sure all fabric, patterns, books and tools are in place before launching a Block of the Month program. No delays because we are waiting for a vendor shipment to come in; everything is planned in advance.

Fabric Key. No need to worry about fabric placement. We offer fabric keys so that you know exactly where each piece of fabric goes. If the placement turns out to be technically challenging, we’ll post an instruction guide for that block.

The Extra Mile. We want your BOM to be fun. If you make a small mistake, let us know and we'll send you a replacement piece for free!

Selection. We will be adding new programs as soon as we can, so there should always be something to interest you.

Satisfaction. We want you to be happy with your BOM — that is our specific goal. We'll do everything we can to see that you are 100% satisfied.

Start-Up Fee
Each program has a $25 non
refundable StartUp Fee. This not only tells us that you are invested in the program, but helps us to cover the initial costs of the patterns and fabrics needed. It also allows us to offer you the quilt at a reasonable monthly fee without a large, lumpsum payment at the end for borders, binding, etc.

If you are signing up for a Block of the Month and already have the book or pattern called for, we will discount the StartUp Fee by 50%. Just let us know in the comments section of your order and we will make the necessary adjustments upon billing.

Monthly Billing, Costs & Shipping
Monthly Fee
Beginning the first month of the program, and for the duration of the program, you will be billed the amount stated in the details + Shipping & Handling (and sales tax when applicable). Unless other arrangements have been made, fees will be billed to the credit/debit card used to pay for the Start
Up Fee or the card used when paying through PayPal.

Billing
We bill out many Block of the Month Programs each month, so each program is scheduled a designated time during the month. Once a Program begins, and is scheduled for that first month, it will be billed on, or about, the same time each month, depending upon weekends and holidays. If paying through a PayPal subscription, PayPal will bill your card on the same day each month, for the duration of the program, and end the subscription automatically after the last payment.

If, for any reason, we are not able to charge your credit card or your PayPal payment does not go through, a postcard or email will be mailed to you and your kit will be held until payment arrangements can be made. For this reason, we encourage you to let us know if you receive an updated credit card or expiration date or need to change your credit card for some reason.

Shipping & Handling
Shipping & Handling may vary throughout the program. If a kit is larger, and shipping is considerably more than normal, we will charge more shipping. Please know that we do our best to reduce shipping costs and try to keep your normal, monthly shipping cost to under $5 per kit.

Participation Limits & Cancellations
Participant Limits
For any one of our programs to actually take place, we must have at least 10 participants. Though most do, not all programs that we offer will actually materialize. We also have to set a maximum amount of participants and, once that limit has been reached, a Waiting List will be set up.

Program Cancellations
If a program is cancelled, you will be contacted via email or phone and given the choice to apply your paid Start
Up fee as a:
        • $25 store credit
        • Start
Up Fee for another Program
        • $25 refund

Waiting List
Once a Program has reached the maximum number of participants that we can accommodate, we will set up a Waiting List. It is free to sign up for the Waiting List. Once we have enough response, usually 10
20 people, we will reopen the Program for StartUps. At that time, we will contact everyone on the Waiting List and they will be given the opportunity to enroll in the program and pay the StartUp Fee at that time.
